    Booking & SMS Updates

    Appointment text messages from Petunia

    Petunia powers online booking pages for home-service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and similar trades). When you book an appointment with one of these businesses, you can choose to receive SMS updates about that appointment.

    What messages you'll receive

    • Appointment confirmations and reminders
    • Booking and secure payment links for the service you requested
    • Service updates from the business you booked with (e.g. technician on the way, rescheduling)

    These are transactional, customer-care messages tied to your own booking. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

    How you opt in

    On each business's public booking page, after you enter your appointment details, you'll see an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. Consent is never pre-checked and is never a condition of booking or purchase. The checkbox reads exactly as shown below:

    Opting out and getting help

    You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact the business you booked with.

    Your privacy

    Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS and your opt-in consent data will not be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to deliver the service messages you requested from the business you booked with. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
